White ink: Give it a go

The Creative City

What is White ink?

  1. Xerox speciality white ink is an opaque white ink which can be used to enable creative use of non-white materials, including coloured, clear, metallic and mirrored paper, board and synthetic materials, either on its own in a single or multiple layers, or in combination with CMYK and metallic inks, enabling greater creativity in printed materials.

How Does it Work?

Maximising the impact of speciality inks starts at the project outset and outcomes are best when we are able to advise and support from project inception.

Using white ink can be as simple as setting the required elements as spot colour called ‘White’ in your design. As designs get more complex however, so do the processes required to configure the files. Xerox have put together the following video tutorial, but the Clarkeprint team are on hand to advise and support. We’re even happy to run training sessions for your teams to help you get off to a flying start!
